C172 180hp weights & bal.

C172 180hp weights & bal.

I purchased a 1972 C172L with c/s prop. There have been 3 owners since the 180 hp conversion. Some of the paper work got lost during its history, and I need info from the weight and balance data sheet that should have been with the plane, following the conversion. I'm sure that even the same info from a 172 N or M or the first model put out with a factory installed Lycoming O360A1A engine would help. Any help in locating this info greatly appreciated.

if you have lost the paperwork, simply have it weighed again and you will be up to date. I did the conversion and I do not remember any weight and balance specs sheets. Good luck,

Hello,
If you have the C/S prop I assume you have the AVCON conversion. If so there is no change to the original weight and balance. Avcon did not file the STC for a weight change. I have other info if you are interested.
