Is the Cessna 300 auto pilot tied into GPS systems?

Hi Ken,
I have a Cessna 300 series autopilot in my C182. A couple of years ago, I had a panel mount Garmin 155 GPS installed. I had the installer connect it to the 2nd (NAV2) channel of the autopilot and it has worked ok. It does intercept and track, but it has a tendency to hunt around a bit more than I would like. No worse than the NAV1 channel which is connected to my #1 VOR/ILS.
