I'm also looking for a 401 or 402. We are in need of a good useful load--total time and paint/interior aren't as important to me as a low empty weight, mechanically sound airframe, and good price.
A 402C's higher gross makes it particularly attractive, but I'm interested in discussing any 401 or 402. It must have a cargo door, but beyond that I'm open to anything. In short, I need a solid plane that isn't necessarily a looker but can reliably carry a big load for a reasonable amount of money!

I have a 1974 402B that I need to get sold to pay some bills so I'm willing to sell it cheap. It's a Part 135 freight hauler and can pack a load.
Motors are 600 SMOH and 1,300 SMOH. They are the newer 1,600 TBO motors. The $30K spar mod HAS been completed
It's worth a lot more but I need $65,000 to pay some bills so if you want to come fly it home I'll let it go for $65K cash.
