Just so no one will install and then be disappointed, the upside of the droopy tips is better roll control at slow speeds and a lowered stall speed. The downside is more drag, roughly 5 knots loss of cruise speed.

I have the tips on my 1963 P172D with a 180 Lycoming, and I like them. When I added flap gap seals, I regained the speed loss. I flight plan for 115 knots.

I have a matching set of C-206 Wings. These are probably the best set of cores I've ever come across.  They are around 1965 version.  Long range tanks..bladder style.  I'll take best offer.

I have a very nice set removed from a 206.  Part number 102L&R, SN127BB.  No STC paperwork.

I have a set of madras super tips for sale. The product sticker says they are from a cessna 172. They have the blue and red lights with the connections. The sticker also says that they were manufactured in Feb. of 1989. The tips are in excellent condition (they are currently painted red). There are mounting holes already in place.
