1958-1963 172/182 project aircraft

I’m looking for a 172 or 182 project or rebuild project. I’m particularly interested in the late 50’s early 60’s aircraft. An engine is optional. I’m not looking for a complete wreck of a corrosion monster. If anyone out there has one or knows of one please drop a line.

Hi Greg:
I've seen a few projects on ebay lately. Also about every airport has a plane or two that hasn't been flow for a decade or more. Ask around... once you get the N number you can find out who owns it on-line at Landings.com.
For example: A guy bought a 182 (1800 TT 400 SMOH if I recall) for a VERY reasonable price down the way from me last year. It hadn't been out of it's hangar for 15 years. He changed the tires and put on a new carb and so-forth... in less than a week he flew it off and has lived happily ever after from what I've heard.

Hi Greg,
I have a project for sale.
It is a 64 172.
Price is 14,500.
It will take about 5000 to put it in the air.

Hi Lee

I'm looking for a 58 through 63, the razor back series. But if that doesn’t look like it will happen a 64 would be a fine second choice. If you could, let me know the times and what needs the most work. Thanks for the replay Lee
