I would think so Barry but so far I have not been able to locate a rebuild kit. I am a bit leary of using just any o rings because they might not be compatible with AV gas

I was just checking out <www.Aircraft-Spruce.com>.  If you type in the search "o-ring" it comes up with a lot of choices and says fuel resistant.  Perhaps if you call them up they might have a catalog or indexing system to identify the one you need.  At least they might be able to recommend someone who can.

That is just what happened. It was on for who knows how long and then I shut it off in preparing for the annual then the leaks began.

Barry thanks for the info, I will look into the o rings further. Yes, my AP will do all the work and is going to look into this issue as well in hopes of saving the cost of a replacement valve. I am just trying to save him some leg work.

Also, for everyones information the Cessna part number I listed above is no longer available. The Cessna recommended replacement is 9851078-4. That I was able to find on the I want Cessna parts web site for $458. Gad!

Lets not forget those that initiate the frivilous law suits. In many cases it is a pilot that takes a company like Cessna to court. All too often it is pilot error and not the aircraft manufacturer.
