see the item cessna 175 nose wheel shimmy, just a few days before this article. The washers for the links come in different thickneses and can be found in the spruce catalog. If it shimmys on take off your not lifting off soon enough; On landing keep the wheel all the way back after touch down. Every body knows this but they get sloppy and the nose wheel lets them know. The links still need to be bushed or shimed. rc
