172RG/182RG step replacement
172RG/182RG step replacement
The step has fallen off the left landing gear of my aircraft. A replacement step is $200.00!! I'm thinking of just putting on a strip of nonskid material (with the 3M backing) on the landing gear led in lew of the replacement step. Any thoughts on this...pro or con?

I maintain three of these beauties and have taken care of that problem with Wing Walk compound. (aircraft spruce). Just clean off the old glue, mask the area, and apply a couple coats. It has worked great and looks nice.

wE APPLIED A COUPLE COATS - IT SEEMS TO LAST INDEFINITELY.
