C340
C340
I have a problem with my 340 that no one in the UK can seem to fix.
Above FL140 I have a large split on the throttles to maintain manifold pressure on the right side. I have also experienced 'surging' of the engine ( a fluctuation of MP) Does anyone have any ideas.
I also have a problem with the boots coming out on their own around 8000 feet and remain out until a lower altitude is reached.
Some pointers in the right direction would very much be appreciated.

Re: C340
I have a C340 and have had same problem, the throttle split is likely due to a partially open waste gate on the engine demanding the most throttle, it can be low oil pressure getting to the waste gate actuator or the waste gate controller, the rough running is likely the upper deck rubbers, they cost very little and I change mine annually.
