Engine paint
I'm having a top overhaul done on the Continental O-300A in my 1957 Cessna 172. I’m having six new Superior cylinders put in to replace the tired old Continental jugs. My mechanic is having trouble finding gold engine paint to match the block. Does anyone have any suggestions about finding the right paint?

Tempo #239 Continental Gold is available at most large parts houses.

Maybe try a local aotomotive paint shop that sells Dupont paint. Look through color books and find a color close and paint the block with Imron

You want to get the Continental stuff, because it will turn "chocolate brown" if the engine overheats, which will then be evident to your mechanic during it's annual

Continental Gold Enamel is listed in the Wag-Aero catalog.

I'm a Vietnamese student of aeronaustis. I've a exercise to design a light aicraft, and I have some troubles with the engine.
I need some parameters of the Continental engine (O-300A,C1452...) I think that you can help me so I email you for the help. Will you please send me somes informations about them?
