Bonzer radar altimeter
Bonzer radar altimeter
<HTML>I purchased this C 182 a short time ago with a Bonzer radar altimeter in it.
I have talked to two different avionics shops and no one seems to know how it supposedly works, or how to test it.I figured some of you old timers might have used one. I have power going to it.</HTML>

That is something that was from the early 70's. Bonzer then became a division of Terra Corp also then became models TRN 70 and 71. By 1984 Terra could not support it due to lack of CAVITY TUBES which really only had a short life cyle of about 300 hrs.
You can check with Terra Corp.
I found this info in an old JULY 1, 1984 issue of AVIATION CONSUMER.</HTML>
