C150 REAR SEAT INSTALLATION

C150 REAR SEAT INSTALLATION

Hi I am looking for information on a rear seat installation for my Cessna 150J. I saw a rear seat in a 150 about two years ago, so I know it exist. If you know the stc or where I could find more info I would really appreciate it. THANKS!

Hello I installed a rear child seat in my 152. In the 152 it is part of original equipment so no stc is needed. It will be listed in the POH if it is the same way for a 150. I bought mine off E-bay and bolted it right in I love it for my 3 year old doughter.

I have a cessna 150/152 rear seat complete with belts and in excellent shape. bets offer gets it. alan smoak

I bought the child's seat for my 1966 150F, but can't find any instructions on installing it! I see the holes are there to attach the back part, but there aren't any holes in the floor for the bottom, nor in the walls for the seat belt!

I looked all over online with no luck. I even e-mailed the company the seat came from (Aviation Fabricators) and they said they can't give them to me without re-certify the seat (might be up to $400!!!) I see the seat in my service and parts manual, but neither says how to install it.

Any advice!?
