TKS known ice for T210
TKS known ice for T210
I am looking for information on getting our 210 outfitted with the TKS known ice system. Specifically I want to know if Flight Ice is the only company that does it or if there is another company that does the STC. We are based in Seattle and if we can avoid a trip to Florida it would be nice. I am also just looking for any feedback regarding the TKS system in general and/or on T210's.

There is a company which installs TKS systems located at Salina Municipal Airport (KSLN) Salina Kansas. Can't think of the name.
You could call America Jet, the best FBO at KSLN, 785-825-6261. They should be able to help you get in touch with the company installing TKS.

The comapany is a British company based there called Aerospace Systems & Technology's and I think they are the company that owns the TKS system patent. On there website they have a note that refers you to Flight Ice in Florida for the 210 TKS installation.

Hi Sam, AS & T will install it on a 210. I'm having my P210 done next week. They will install a non certified system for about $6000 less then flight Ice. I can't see a big differents between the two.

Hello,
My name is Brian Sader with AS&T Inc. I would contact Galvin Flying service through the links page on our website as they are in Seattle. We can also install a system on your 210 right here in Salina Ks. If you want to do the Known Icing certified version, you will need to take it to Flight ice though. Call me for more details.
