Response time

I have a fairly fast computer and line. For some reason this web site takes probably a factor of 5x longer to to hook up and respond compared to others. It takes up to 2 minutes sometimes. I have no idea where the problem is, but I at least have a problem.

Is it slow to load the home page? Or the forums? Or replies to the forums? Or all of the above?

We view it with a T1 and no problems.

It is the homepage that is slow. I bookmarked the forums and it instantly goes there. So now I skip the homepage. I'm not sure if it hangs up on the updated format or what, but going straight to the forums solves the problem - but I will miss anything on the home page!

I am on a cable modem and don't expereice any problems. They only annoyance is that it sometimes takes up to 10 seconds for the menus to appear off of the home page. Other than that no complaints.

I am trying out the site (not a member yet). I am on a cable modem, but the login time is 35-60 seconds. This is extreme by cable standards. Once "in", the response time increased to a normal level. Too bad sad

Obvioulsy, the Cessna Owners Association reads its posts. The response time has improved to a "normal" status. Thank you for your attention!

I have changed my opinion regarding joining the group.
