What does "new" mean anyway?
What does "new" mean anyway?
I was just wondering what the criteria is for the red "new" label?
I have looked at topics that are from 3 months ago and have not had any recent posts that have the label. Every, or almost every, topic on the front page of a forum seems to have the "new" label.

Okay - I see... "new" means "not marked as read." Even if I have read the topic, the label is not reset unless I specifically mark it as read.
Oh- that's very different... never mind!
