King Radio KX175B

Hi!

I have had this radio for a while now (KX175B/unmounted) and have recently been trying to figure out how to get it working, yet with little success. Is there anyone on this forum who knows how to do this and would like to help me?
There is a 42-pin connector on the backside but I have no schematics for it and I couldn't find any on google. Is there anyone here with a Service/Installation Manual who can post a scan of this schematic or point me in a direction where I can obtain this information?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm wondering where I might obtain an operator's manual for the KX175B. I have a KX175B in a C172M I bought last year. It receives loud and clear and others tell me I'm loud and clear when I transmit. But I don't pick up AWOS or ATIS more than about 10 miles out. I've been told there's an automatic squelch which I can turn off or down by pulling out the volume knob. But if the automatic squelch is the problem, I wondering whether and how I can adjust it lower to give me more reception range.
