Howdy all I have a 1958 c-172. I want to fly out of terribly high altitudes full of camping stuff, 180hp would do. I have the 0-300 off and being overhauled with new cyls maybe someone would trade me for a used 180 hp and maybe an Idea whose stc to use for this year model. If not Ill use my own car conversion and go for my own stc on something of higher Hp!  thanx  Rogers!

Using all Cessna parts from 1968 or later 172s.

Cost of STC 2 years ago was 1000.00

I am looking for a lower front cowling for a 1956 172 if there is one
left over from an upgrade to a 180 HP conversion or if you know where I
might find on please let me know.

I have an o-360 with constant speed prop that I am not going to install.  I would take a fresh o-300 in trade.
