I have no problems with the format - it looks good - but it now runs at about 20% of the speed it used to run at.
Lots of waiting for each page to load the identical graphics to the previous page - to the point that sometimes I just close Explorer and relaunch - it's faster. And I'm not on antiquated equipment - I'm running highspeed cable internet access on a Mac Powerbook running 9.1.
Other than that - looks good.

I too find pages loading slower
I'm running mac OS10.4 using Apples Safari browser
I'm also curious about the forums being open to the public. Was it always this way? I paid to join so I could enjoy a forum where the crazy public could leave stupid posts. Recently I've been seeing a few of these and am worried about the future.

way slower....also I cannot get the last post info without opening each individual forum. (another slow page to load just to see if anything is new.) the old global listing was much better. This is a major step backward from my standpoint.

We are modifying the Forum home page to show the last post date. That modification is almost complete.
We will check into the speed issues you are describing. More integration with the rest of the website has resulted in some time loss, but we haven't noticed a drastic change.

We made some significant changes today that have shortened load time. Let us know if you are still experiencing delays, we are especially interested in delays lasting 10 seconds as described in this thread.

Delays on my system are now down to around10 seconds with maybe one in 5 taking 15.
Though still not as fast as the old system that is a big improvement over the last couple of days.

We have done several fixes to upgrade the performance of the site. It should be much faster now. Please let us know if you are still experiencing issues.

All the posts are underlined.
I find the non underlined text a little easier to read.
It's not a major issue, I was just wondering if there
was a reason for it.
