I am not a pilot and know zero about piloting, but I am looking for a little help and thought I might ask here.

I'm a multi-published author of women's fiction and romance novels. I'm currently working on a book with a major character who owns a small, private charter company and, frankly, I'm having a hard time. I need some general information on what kind of things a charter pilot might experience. I've researched the Cessna site and have decided what kinds of planes he owns, and I have the general specs listed on that site, but it doesn't give me the authentic, "personal" feel I'm looking for.
