volume problem
volume problem
My aircraft has a Collins radio and a Narco 12E. When both radios are on the same frequency, I can hear other communications ok. When I change the frequency of one radio, the volume on the 12E decreases to barely audible, while volume on the Collins is ok. I figure that I have a problem with the 12E. Any ideas?

Hi Glenn I am wondering if you have an audio panel installed in your aircraft. If not try installing one and see if this helps to separate the radios. Good luck, Bill.

Suggest you phone Narco for tech support. I recently installed a ICOM A-200 and needed to talk to Narco about how to interface the two radios together. I do not have an audio panel. They were very helpful, maybe they have an idea.
