Gross weight increase 182

Gross weight increase 182

Whats the max gross weight increase STC out there for the 182? I've found one that bumps up my 1964 182G to 2950 but I thought I heard there was another for 3000+

I'll be dropping in a Texas Skyways 0-520 280hp so I'd like to be able to take full advantage of that extra power.

Iam trying to find a STC for a increase in MTOW for my 182 G model. Where can I look to find one, Thankyou, ashley

Check out Wingx it increased my usable from 2650 to 2950 on my 182B.

I already have the 0-520 engine you are looking to buy from Texas Skyways. My airplane also has the "camber lift" leading edge. Wow! What a difference in performance! Jack is also terrific in providing the support you may need from time to time. If you find out anything about an STC to increasing the useful load, I would really appreciate you giving me a call.
