This fire bottle was found completely discharged and its nozzle assembly loose. The inspecting technician describes the unit’s valve threads as being corroded and the o-ring seal deteriorated. Improper valve torque was offered as a possible cause for these discrepancies. (Two accompanying photographs are shown below.
