“The number six cylinder left the engine,” writes this submitter. The aircraft was running fine...all of a sudden a vibration was felt. On investigation the head was found separated from the cylinder. The head was being held on by the intake pipe and exhaust. The engine and this cylinder had 72.4 hours TSMOH (time since major overhaul).”
“This is a new Ram engine with ECI nickel cylinders (P/N TISN 71-2BCA-221).”
