Ok, how about just give me a clue of how to get the STC number.  I have all the installation instructions and data, from LP's website but the STC number is harder to come up with.  PLEASE!

I also found those on the FAA website.  But LP Aeroplastics sells a strapless windshield (info on LPaero.com website) that fits 172B and C(S/N 17247747-17249544) and 175,175A-C(S/N 55001-17557119).  It's listed as Report No. 314/CON.  The also list on another page (STC MOD FACT SHEET) strapless windshields cover all C-172 up to 17249544 under part numbers 312/CON,312/CMB,311/CON and 311/CMB.  175's are under the 314 and 311 numbers.  It's kind of confusing.  I've got a .187 inch thick windshield with the cessna part used on later model 172s to clamp the windshield at the top (without any holes drilled through the windshield). I contacted Jeff at LP aeroplastics and he may help me after I send him some photos.  But if anyone out there has a strapless LP aeroplastics windshield on there 172B or C or even a 175, 175A-C.  I would like to know if it was put on with a 337 or a STC and if so who's STC?  Thanks for the response.
