PRESS RELEASE: 
Power Flow Systems, which has made a significant difference in engine performance with their tuned exhausts, has offered owners an opportunity to double the warranty period from one year to two years by performing a Dynamic Balance within the first 25 hours of service. The objective is to reduce engine vibrations which can cause problems to the exhaust system as well as other parts on the aircraft.
To maximize service life, Power Flow recently revised its FAA Approved “Instructions for Continued Airworthiness” to require lubrication of the slip joints at each annual or 500 hours (whichever comes first). Every new kit ordered receives a free tube of the recommended anti-seize lubricant, good for two to three annuals. Any commercially available high temperature anti-seize with a minimum of 1600 degree Fahrenheit temperature can be used. Supplies are also available through Power Flow Systems.
“Research has shown us that a small percentage of the systems that are in service have experienced reduced longevity due to excessive vibration or lack of lubrication, or both,” said Darren Tilman, General Manager of Power Flow. “We’re simply trying to head off the issue by encouraging people to practice some simple preventative maintenance. No exhaust system is immune to the long term effects of excessive vibration.”
