C172 camera hatch STC

C172 camera hatch STC

Hi,

I need to modify a C172 to use it for aerial photography. I therefore need an STC to carry out the modification - basically to put a 10" hole in the fuselage. Can anyone suggest where I can get an STC from?

Any help is much appreciated.

Airborne Scientific (airbornescientific.com) has an STC for aerial camera pods for Cessna 172, 182, 170, and 180 aircraft that will accomodate a variety of aerial cameras and sensors using either a 6 inch port with removable glass, or a 8.5" by 18.5" in port with removable glass, which do not require any modification to the aircraft, the pod is portable and removable.
