Avionics swap - bought a new (used) plane

What would you do?

I bought a new (used) plane.

My old plane, which i need to sell, is IFR certified.

I spent $ finding, yellow tagging and installing a Narco 122 (marker beacon, glideslope, ils) and a Narco 121 in the old .. dual vor's - nice setup.

I am thinking of pulling out the Narco 122 and 121 and placing in my new (used) plane. And putting back the original Narco Nav 11 in my old plane that i need to sell.

Would it be better to leave the Narco's in the old plane .. as it may help in selling it; or

taking the Narco's out and putting them in the new (used) plane, thereby not having to again respend $ and time finding a 122 and 121, then yellow tagging, and installing ???????

I would leave the old Narco radios in the old plane, and update your new one. It hard to get those repaired and really not worth the money you put into them. If you want you plane to go up in value and be dependable, Garmin would be my first option and then King would be my second. There is nothing worse then having your equipment go out on you every month and dump the same amount as a new garmin into an old discontinued Narco.
