Since asking,it has been highlighted to me that SEB07-8, MEB07-2 "Secondary Seat Stops" may have superceded SEB 07-5.

Could you confirm this for me.

If indeed SEB07-8, MEB07-2 is updated version, could you possibly send me a copy of this new one?

My mechanic tells me that Cessna offered to pay for parts and a certain amount of labor to address this service bulletin, but is now asserting that they are out of the part kit, and unable to estimate when they'll have them again. Should we just buy the part kit from McFarlane or such and bill Cessna for labor? Or does anyone have any info as to when Cessna will restock the kits? Advice appreciated.

So, I am assuming no one else is able to attain these SK210-174A secondary seat stop kits at this time. Even Premier shows no availabiltity at this time. I have actually failed to locate any listing for this kit anywhere else. Any suggestions? Or just wait on Cessna to replenish inventories?

You might try Foothill Aircraft at Cable airport.  They are a Cessna service center.  Call Don at 909-985-1977.

I just had this kit installed at Poplar Grove Airmotive at C-77 in Illinois. It cost me only 25 bucks for the labor charge over what Cessna will pay.Maybe they have one for you?

Hello Everyone,
New to this site, I am an a&p/IA living near jacksonville, Fl.  I am repling to this thread because I am offering to anyone in the area that is affected by this SEB07-5 soon to be an AD, compliance via installation of the kits supplied by Cessna at no cost. Thats right NO COST, cessna is picking up the tab, but this is suppose to only last for a couple of months until it turns into an AD and at that time it will be on the owner to comply.  I have a hangar at 83FL(four miles west of fernandina beach airport) a three thousand foot asphalt private strip.I also am a private pilot with a C-172 and can arrange transportation back to your location at cost.  I've been an A&P for twelve years with general aviation experience.
