The Department of Homeland Secutiry posted the final rules affecting private aircraft on international flights today. Although not what we would have liked to see, it is a lot better than what was originally published in the Notice of Proposed Rule Making. Provisions have been made to address a number of concerns raised by pilots, the most notable being lack of internet availability outside of the USA.

Caribbean Sky Tours has worked closely with AOPA on addressing this rule and we have already reviewed the rule this morning and provided a list of observations and recommendations.
