main gear brake fairings for flat spring steel gear
Where can I find a set of main gear brake fairings for a 1968 Skylane with the flat steel gear and Cessna original pants? I have seen two this week on passing aircraft. There are after market ones available but you have to buy their fancy pants set to get them.
did Cessna make them at one time? There aren't any shown in my parts catalog.

One of the 'stol' guys, Riley, or Robertson,(or maybe someone else) had an stc'd glue on fairing kit for the flat spring gear. Pretty much became part of the gear, made it hard to change the brake line. Not sure if they are still around.
