winterization kit
We have a C182-R that blew a seal on the oil cooler, the oil cooler was'nt damaged just the seal, some in our club think it was because of high oil presure due to cold oil temps. The air temp was about 10f. Should we install a winterization kit?, if so where should we get one from.
Re: winterization kit
Hi Doug,
I ordered a winterization kit for a 2007 182T through JA Air in Aurora, IL. The phone number is 630 584-3200 and the director of maintenance is Bruce Rebechini. The cost was alot more than I was told previously with an explanation that there were several components that needed to be ordered separately. Actually I was thinking about calling Cessna directly to see what the cost should be. I would be interested in hearing what you have learned.
Greg
