N3854J is finished
It's been a while since I last posted. You may have seen my engine overhaul in the COO magazine a few months back and I am now working on an article for the interior refurbish.
I flew for two hours today and the new airplane smell is still noticeable after all new plastic parts, new windows, new carpet, leather eyebrow, new panel overlays, new yokes, superb new padding and seat covers and a thousand small things I won't list here.
My little 150 runs strong and flies hands off. The added plus is that it now looks like a brand new airplane. I am planning on keeping this baby because no one would want to pay the price I would set for it.
Thanks again to all of you for your advice and opinions. You have no idea how much it helps to have a group of Cessna owners and mechanics to turn to. I'll try to do better now to check in more often.
