Garmin 296 circuit protection
Garmin 296 circuit protection
Anyone know what the current draw is for this unit? I have a customer that utilizes his 296 via the cigar lighter for power. The lighter is protected with a 1a circuit breaker, which pops after about 30 minutes. I am thinking that it should be closer to 3a. I have no user manual and all of the specs internet wide do not provide that info. Any help would be appreciated.
