ok i am a new owner of a c-150. i have done hours of reading on uneven fuel burn and will be checking everything that has been suggested here in the forums,however i do have what i think is a good question. even if my tanks dont drain the same in flight why dont they level with each other on the ground? if i land with 5 gallons in the left (pilot) tank and 10 in the right (copilot) tank. shouldnt they level after sitting on the ground ? fuel selector left on, meaning common fead line. physics should take over and level the tanks ? right ? but this doesnt happen , why?
