C175 unusable fuel
C175 unusable fuel
Hi There, new to the forum - loads of great info - thanks.
I recently purchased a Cessna 175C. The aircraft has about 60lb unusable fuel, I presume that this may be due to the single fuel pick ups in the tanks. I am hoping to increase my useful load. Does anybody know if there is a modification approved to allow better use of the remaining fuel - eg 2 fuel pick up points per tank as on later cessna's.

I'm curious. 10 gallons? Seems like a lot. Is that per the POH or from running the tanks dry- hopefully two different flights ;-)
