Hoerner vs Flap Gap Seals:
Hoerner vs Flap Gap Seals:
I have a 1963 172-D with standard wheel fairings and I was curious from a dollars to improvement perspective between Hoerner Wing tips and flap gap seals which one proves most beneficial. From my review of the numbers they offer similar return and flap gaps are $100-200 cheaper. Any other mods in the $1K price range I'm overlooking?

I fly a 1973 Skyhawk M with flap & aileron gap seals, all wheel pants and exhaust fairing. The plane is 10MPH faster than other skyhawks and climbs at 1,000fpm, thanks to the gap seals.
