1956 cessna 172
Hi fella's
I'm an A&P IA down on 3J6 South East Georgia very accomplished on playing with airpllanes structurally etc.
Also looking for a job currently flying a King Air 200 with 8353 tt and 3174 turbine pic on jet and 77oo total jet and typed on CL850 and CL65 and 737 laid off from Untied until 2017 so .... its over and was only on for a year there.
But does anyone know of a 1956 or otherwise early 172 being converted to long range fuel with factory long range fuel tanks?
If I knew of an airplane and it registration number i could order a copy of 337's from the FAA on it and go from there on working to get a field approval for my airplane.
Make it easier.
I don't see long range tanks on my model (1956 172) in the Type Certificate of the parts book.
