flap indicator
<HTML>I replaced the flap indicator in my 1970 172K with a system from Visual Instruments in Mc Minnville Or. This is the best investment I have made in my plane. No more trying to figure out where the flaps were when landing. It is a great improvement in the cessna system . I would recommend this system to anyone that is still trying the one- one thosand two one thosand system</HTML>
Re: flap indicator
<HTML>Visual Instruments' URL is http://www.visualinstruments.com. The indicator kit is $399.00</HTML>
Re: flap indicator
<HTML>I installed the visual inst flap indicator on my 1969 172 it is very convenient and precise and upgrades one of the few areas that I had a problem with - the one-one thousand ... I was all to familiar with - a mechanic had previously told me to look out the window to find out where the flaps were - my response is that I still do quit regular, however when I'm really busy - go arounds - heavy traffic -and or deteriorating weather, ist Incredably handy to check or set the flafs somewhat precise while still looking forward - them later visually verifying them when I have a little "free" time.
The other upgrage that is really great (really, really great)
is the powerflow exhaust system - if I start on that I sound like one of their sales brochures.
