HOW DO I GO ABOUT FINDING THE OWNER OF MY DECEASED DAD'S SKYLANE N3119S.
THE OGLE COUNTY ILLINOIS SHERIFF'S OFFICE HAD PURCHASED IT FROM US AFTER MY DAD'S DEATH IN 1996. SINCE THEN, BECAUSE OF FUEL COSTS, IT HAS AGAIN BEEN SOLD. I WOULD LIKE TO FIND THE OWNER. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANK YOU

Hi Rhonda:
Go to the FAA web site and go to the Search Aircraft Records page. key in the "N" number and it will display the name and address for the current registered owner. Right now that "N" number shows the following registered owner:
Name: D & J AVIATION SALES INC
Street: 3368 LEGACY DR
City: SPRINGFIELD State: TENNESSEE
County: ROBERTSON Zip Code: 37172-6375
Country: UNITED STATES

Simply go to google and type in the N number and seaarch.
