530W wx

Just bought a 206 with the 530W with wx. Have the aviator package but the 530 only gives me nexrad and metars. How do I set up the 530 to show lightning, winds, airmets etc?

I suggest you contact XM Weather and talk to them about subscription options. I think lightning may be on the more expensive package.

They have a list of what is available on each option, but I think you should get more than Nexrad and Metars. Over the years even checking the their charts and talking to XM I have found it difficult to pin them down to exact specifics.

You do get more on the 436 handheld than on the 530W.
