Oil filter adapter PMA
Oil filter adapter PMA
Am wondering if anyone out there has a source for where I can get the PMA documentation on P/N 1250922-202, a Cessna Oil Filter Adapter.
If it is a Cessna part that was not on the engine previously (had the old screen version) then don;t I need a PMA for my records to be legal?
I was going through my logs making sure I had all the PMA's, 8130's and STCs for modifications (so I can say I have complete logs) and I noticed there is nothing on this modification on the rear of the engine. There is nothing filed with the FAA either - I already checked.
Appreciate any help out there.
Re: Oil filter adapter PMA
Not knowing what airplane/engine this adapter is installed on it is difficult to research, this adapter is normally installed on TCM engines. I would first look at the aircraft illustrated parts catalog to see if this P/N is listed under the serial number effective list. This is normaly just a log book entry. (and W&B Equip List amendmentment) Additionally, there is a repetitive AD note (96-12-22) on this adapter due at each oil change or whenever the filter is removed.
