Pilot Training in Panama City Florida
As many of you know I have been working on my pilot's license in Panama City Florida for the past 2 months.
It has gone well, I did my first solo a couple of weeks ago and have totaled 33 hours of training.
My instrutor has been great and I look forward to another week of training next week. The main thing I have learned over the first two weeks of training is that the number of hours of time behind the yolk does not matter as much as what you have learned in those hours. I started the training looking to log the hours and get to my pilot's licence as soon as possible. Get in those 40 hours that are required and get the license. It now is more important to me that I have the correct training under my belt before I obtain my pilot's license. If this takes 60+ hours so be it.
I plan to do some more solo training next week. I was thinking about taking my first cross country solo flight from Panama City to Mobile, Alabama. It is a little farther trip than I think I am ready for. Anyone have an opinion on this being my first cross country solo trip.
I hope to see others share their training experience on this thread. It would be a great learning tool for me.
