C-152 fuel vent
C-152 fuel vent
I have a 1978 C-152 that leaked fuel from the fuel vent. The tank was removed and the fuel valve was replaced as it had a broken spring. Once the new one was installed. The tank vent now has a continuous slow leak, drip, drip until it gets to 8 gallons. My understanding is the fuel valve has a hole to releive pressure, or fuel when you fill the tank and the sun heats it up and expands. Is this normal?
