Deicing a booted P210

Deicing a booted P210

If my booted plane(P210) has ice/frost on it before takeoff what is the safest or compatible deicing fluids i can use to spray on?  I've used TKS solution(with a hand sprayer) before on my previous un booted v35. But I don't know if it will affect the boots. No tks doesn't harm paint or glass as I know from previous use. Thanks for any advice.

Re: Deicing a booted P210

You should be ok with that, I see that Aircraft Spruce is now selling it too.  Other options would be glycol obtained from a FBO and sprayed on by hand, although now it will become harder to apply with a high wing aircraft.
