I'm a 600 hr pilot coming out of a partnership that felt like my first marriage...BAD.  I want a plane I can comfortably own solo or with one other person.  Am considering a mid 1960's 210 and am looking for speed, payload, relative ease/cost of maintenance and a decent panel.  What have your experiences been in buying/maintaining your aircraft and what would you have done different?  Assuming the 285 hp engine, what kind of actual airspeeds/fuel burns are you seeing?  Any maintenance/design issues that seem to be recurring problems with this model?  Thanks for your input.
