Prop VS Snow Shovel
Well I went to the airport, and wanted to shovel out my tie dwon and go do some patten work but the snow had turned to ICE and I could not shovel it out. I did not want to try to drive the airplane over the Ice because I did not know if I could do it and if I could I did not thank I would be able to push it back into the tie down spot over the ice. So I leant the snow shovel agenst the prop and looked over the aircraft I thought that I should start it for about 10-15 min to coat the engine internals and charge the battery the plane had not been started for 3 weeks. Well I started it alright right into the snow shovel the snow shovel went flying down the ramp. I checked over the prop there is a very small nick on the prop right next to the spinner on the back edge of the prop. I started the engine and went to 2000 RPM and did not notice any vibs from the prop. Should I be concerned?
