Experience with Insurance / claims
I tried to add a friend to the insurance on my C-120 as he wants to learn tail-dragger driving. An 6000 hr instructor who owns a 120 would do the training, not me.
The insurance broker said it could be done but advised against it saying that any accident might make me uninsurable ! What ! Doesn't that mean that if I have an accident I might be uninsurable !? I'm hoping the lady was loopy or there was some misunderstanding ( my wife, also a pilot took the call ) perhaps she was thinking not of a regular accident but of some accident involving a violation .... Any first-person stories on this topic welcome (
