OAT relocation
Re: OAT relocation
<HTML>Ted, you could put a Davtron panel mounted gauge ( providing you have panel space) the one i have in my 182RG gives voltage, temperature in F & C, pressure altitude and density altitude. It is a small unit and with a push button you can "scroll" down thru the above choices.
Or you can drill a hole thur your plexi windshield and install on there that operates like your old one and is jsut about the same to read......... not that easy.</HTML>
Re: OAT relocation
<HTML>I got the vent tubes from sportys - a real comfort and noise improvement and I can really recommend them - once you get past the price - However even though it was a little expensive I installed the davtron inst mentioned previous - It turns out to be very effective and gives me info easily - although I basically replaced a simpler inst with the davtron It always gives voltage on startup - till you scroll through or change the display -and the times - zulu, local, and flight times - this info, both voltage and flight time came in critical a couple of times I wouldn't have expected to need it.
Anyway I highly recommend both.
