<HTML>I really don't have any  info - Just to say that I have a Ram 160 hp conversion in my 1969 c-172k - It was done by a prior owner in 1979 (a 0-320-D2G ) and I haven"t found any further info on this.

<HTML>I'd recommend the Lycon STC over the Ram simply because the RAM STC allows for 160HP for only 5min whereas the Lycon STC allows for 160HP continously.

Unless by some stroke of luck you have a properly pitched propeller, you'll need to either re-pitch your current propeller or trade it for another one that is pitched to the correct angle (57 deg if memory serves).

Also your Tach may need to be re-range marked.  I usually replace the tach with the engine so I have a instant reminder of the time on the engine.

Other than that, the conversion takes place on the inside not on the outside so the engine installation isn't any different.
